Who's on the crew
The current roster of AI roles, what each one is for, and the recruit-deploy-review loop.
The crew is how uncapped turns AI from a chat box into named help. Each role has a job, a boundary, and a review path.
The roster #
The current roster spans build, finance, marketing, growth, ops, and support, with a mix of active and beta roles. Examples:
| Area | Roles |
|---|---|
| Build | Site Builder, QA Reviewer |
| Finance | Bookkeeper |
| Marketing | Copywriter, Social Media Manager, Brand Designer |
| Growth | Research Analyst, SEO Specialist, CRM Specialist |
| Ops | Project Lead, Executive Assistant |
| Support | Support Agent |
You don't need to know which model or tool is underneath a role, and you shouldn't have to. What you should know is what the role is responsible for, what it will draft, and what still needs your approval. That's what each role card in the app tells you.
How crew work feels #
- Recruit the role you need.
- Deploy work to it from a project or task.
- Review what comes back before it becomes final.
The review step is deliberate. uncapped is built for founders who want more output without handing away judgment - crew output is always a draft until you approve it (see how crew works for what powers a run).
One idea underneath #
The crew and your boards serve the same purpose: you keep the final say, while the system makes the work easier to see, assign, review, and improve.
